RIVERVIEW — A 20-year-old East Lansing man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and for refusing a preliminary breath test at 2:44 a.m. Dec. 28 in the parking lot of Residences on Penn Apartments near building six.
The man, who was in a blue Dodge Charger, had struck several parked vehicles in the parking lot, including a Chevy Trailblazer, a Chevy Trax and a Ford Escape.
The driver claimed that ice in the parking lot caused him to lose control of his vehicle. However, the responding police officer saw no signs of ice on the road surface…
