LANSING — The approximately 50 people who were moved from a homeless camp to a south Lansing hotel because of a court agreement have been promised an extended stay beyond the initial six-weeks that began in late December.
City of Lansing and county officials confirmed this week that Ingham County plans to provide up to $76,500 to keep residents in the hotel while they continue working toward permanent housing and more stability.
