Man pleads guilty in 2024 homicide in DeWitt Twp.

ST. JOHNS — A homicide case stemming from a 2024 shooting in DeWitt Township has been resolved through a plea deal.

Bradley Corey, 28, pleaded guilty on Jan. 30 to second-degree murder and felony firearm possession in the killing of his girlfriend, Emily Hansen, with an agreement his minimum prison sentence will be 16 years for the murder conviction, plus the mandatory two years for the weapons conviction. He also pleaded guilty to cocaine possession.
