Second person charged in deadly Lansing street racing crash

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Ingham County Prosecutor has identified the second person who was criminally charged for their involvement in a deadly street racing-related crash on April 24, 202,5 on S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Keondre Morgan, 24, was arraigned in 54-A District Court on Jan. 29. He is charged with one count of reckless driving causing death and one count of reckless driving causing serious impairment of bodily function.

Morgan is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m.

A second person involved in the crash, John-Jewel Velasquez-Hicks, 19, was charged with the same criminal offenses and was arraigned on Jan. 13…
