EATON TWP., Mich. (WILX) – The Charlotte Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in Eaton Township early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews were dispatched shortly before 4 a.m. after a car was reported on fire. Shortly after the initial call, dispatchers were notified that the fire was spreading to a nearby residence.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire. Heat damage was reported to the home, garage and an adjacent vehicle. Fire officials did not say whether anyone was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire officials said an electrical short has not been ruled out…
