Suspect caught after active-shooter alert issued in Lansing-area township, authorities say

DELTA TOWNSHIP, MI – The suspected shooter connected to an active-shooter alert in an area west of Lansing early Friday night has reportedly been caught.

Eaton County Emergency Management first sent out the alert around 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, for an area near Farmstead Lane, a residential street, and West Michigan Avenue in Delta Township.

Residents had been advised to steer clear of the surrounding neighborhood, whiel some nearby roadways along Michigan Avenue were blocked to through traffic by local authorities…
