LANSING — Ingham County commissioners have guaranteed extended stays for the approximately 50 people who were moved from a homeless camp to a south Lansing hotel after the city successfully won a court fight to raze the camp.
The county Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Feb. 10 to provide $76,500 to cover the cost of 25 rooms for an unspecified time period at the Causeway Bay Lansing Hotel & Convention Center on South Cedar Street.
