No injuries in fire at Tipsy Nickel Bar & Grille in Mason

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A fire broke out at the Tipsy Nickel Bar and Grille in Mason on Saturday evening, leading to a response from multiple fire and police agencies. Everyone inside the restaurant was able to evacuate safely and no injuries were reported.

The Mason Fire Department received a call regarding the fire around 7 p.m. At least eight crews from the Dansville Fire Department and five vehicles from the Mason Police Department responded to the scene at the well-known local restaurant.

When fire crews arrived at the scene, the restaurant building was smoking. Officials confirmed that everyone inside the Tipsy Nickel managed to exit the building safely and no injuries were reported.

Kirk Crawford, assistant fire chief for the Mason Fire Department, provided an update while crews remained on the scene. Crawford noted that the situation remained active as firefighters worked to contain the fire.

“It’s undetermined right now. It’s still an active scene, still working on it. So the crews are working and hopefully we’ll get some time later to get some investigation going on it,” Crawford said…
