Family of Haslett ‘Flag Man’ says Michigan licensing gap left father without proper oversight

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A Mid-Michigan family says their search for answers about the death of their loved one has revealed what they are calling a crack in the senior care system.

There are thousands of facilities across the state of Michigan that offer a place for seniors, but the News 10 Investigates team has uncovered that the same standards don’t apply to all of them.
