Lansing police continue search for man missing since January

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Lansing Police Department is continuing its search efforts for Dleel Danial Galal-Kowta, 26, who was reported missing and endangered on Jan. 9.

According to an LPD spokesperson, officers were searching in the area of E Jolly Road and Aurelius Road on south side of the city, near Sycamore Creek, on Tuesday.

Galal-Kowta was last seen between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Jan. 8 in the 4900 block of Belle Chase Boulevard. Tuesday’s search site was around a mile from this location.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and possibly had no shoes and was wearing a blue and white jacket. He is 6’1″ and 165 lbs.
