Drivers who routinely travel on U.S. 127 in the Lansing area may experience some construction-related headaches this spring.
A stretch of major highway from Clark Road to south of Lake Lansing Road is scheduled to be rebuilt this year as part of the next phase of a six-year project to improve the corridor in Clinton and Ingham counties.
This year’s work is meant to improve geometrics, safety and vehicular movement on U.S. 127. It’ll include pavement and bridge repairs, and upgraded drainage, signs, pavement markings and “intelligent transportation systems,” according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT)…
