LANSING – The Michigan Princess, a 500-passenger riverboat that’s given rides to more than half a million people on the Grand River since it debuted in 1991, is being dismantled. The boat was being taken apart on Friday, Feb. 27.
The popular riverboat, which docks at Grand River Park, never recovered after sustaining damage in late 2024 and won’t be rebuilt, owner Chris Chamberlain said.
