Two Mid-Michigan school districts awarded grants for cleaner school buses

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – More than two dozen school districts, including two in Mid-Michigan, are receiving grants to replace older diesel school buses with cleaner alternatives.

The Michigan Department of Education has awarded nearly $44 million through the Clean Bus Energy Grant program to 27 districts across the state.

Locally, Holt Public Schools will receive $4.4 million, and Howell Public Schools will receive $4.2 million…
