Ex-leader of agency for homeless, domestic-abuse survivors took $95K

EATON COUNTY, MI – The former executive director of an agency that helps homeless families and domestic-abuse survivors embezzled $95,000 from the organization, a federal prosecutor said.

Teri Lyn Looney pleaded guilty Friday, Feb. 27, to theft from a program – SIREN/Eaton Shelter – that received federal funds.
