‘Zero communication’ between Tom Izzo, Dusty May following ‘dangerous’ plays comment

It seems apparent that there is no love lost when it comes to Tom Izzo and Dusty May.

Michigan and Michigan State will meet again on the hardwood later this week, and there was plenty of drama in the aftermath of their last matchup about a month ago. Following the game, May called out the Spartans — particularly Michigan State star guard Jeremy Fears Jr. — for intentional dangerous plays during the game. That, of course, got back to Izzo, who was not pleased with May’s public comments about his team. Izzo said “if anyone did anything dirty, tell (May) to call me.”

Well, there has apparently been no communication between the two rival coaches since that matchup. Larry Lage of the Associated Press posted on social media on Monday that May said there’s been “zero communication” with Izzo since they last met in late January. Additionally, when if anything will linger into this week’s top 10 matchup, May responded saying “no, nothing I can think of.”…
