Lansing woman wins $25,000 a year for life playing Michigan Lottery

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A Lansing woman has won $25,000 a year for life through the Michigan Lottery.

Kathy Forquer, 67, claimed the big prize in the Lucky for Life game with a ticket she purchased at Borders Corner Store in Mount Pleasant.

“I was a regular Lucky for Life player, and I bought this ticket when I was visiting my sister in Mount Pleasant,” Forquer said. “I checked it at 6 a.m. the morning after the drawing and thought I was having a heart attack when I saw I’d won $25,000 a year for life!”…
