March 4 (UPI) — A Michigan store might have claim to the title of the state’s luckiest after selling its fourth lottery ticket worth over $100,000 in the space of just three years.
The Michigan Lottery announced Lansing resident Kathy Forquer, 67, scored a prize of $25,000 a year for life by matching the five white balls in the Feb. 10 Lucky For Life drawing.
“I was a regular Lucky For Life player, and I bought this ticket up in Mount Pleasant when I was visiting my sister,” Forquer said. “I checked it at 6 a.m. the morning after the drawing and thought I was having a heart attack when I saw I’d won $25,000 a year for life!”
Forquer bought her ticket from Borders Corner Store on East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant…
