LAINGSBURG, Mich. (WILX) – A man is in police custody after an hours-long standoff with police in Laingsburg on Wednesday.
Police say the standoff began just after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a man fired off multiple shots before entering a home with an “assault weapon” in the area of Church Street and Grand River Avenue.
Police say he was taken into custody without incident, but it is unclear who convinced the man to leave his home. Law enforcement found three guns inside. It’s unclear what kind of firearms were recovered…
