Potterville’s Sam Davis Shines At The Oscars

The Oscars turned out to be a big night for a local filmmaker from Potterville, Michigan, who took home an Oscar for best live action short film.

Sam Davis, who showed some love to his hometown of Potterville, which is located just south of Lansing, while accepting the award for best live action short film for his movie, “The Singers.” His film tied for the award along with “Two People Exchanging Saliva,” and during his acceptance speech, he gave some love to Michigan.
