On Sunday at 1:34 p.m. EDT an updated wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Monday at 11 p.m. EDT for Clinton, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties.
The weather service states to be ready for, “Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
