If you’ve been to Lansing Shuffle recently, you’ve probably notice that things have shuffled around a bit.
Another Restaurant Has Closed at Lansing Shuffle
We seem to have lost another restaurant, but it looks like we’re going to get two new ones.
Until now, the last major change to Lansing Shuffle was in November 2025 when one of the original eateries, Yeti Kitchen, closed its doors.
What Happened to Beirut Kitchen?
The most recent closure in the food hall is Beirut Kitchen. This locally owned Mediterranean eatery first opened in February 2024. There’s no exact word on when it closed, but it appears to have happened recently. Its Facebook page now lists it as permanently closed.
Now, two new businesses are slated to take over those spaces inside Lansing Shuffle.
New Restaurants Are Moving Into Lansing Shuffle
The first eatery is University Weiner., which is going into the former Beirut Kitchen stall.
University Weiner has an original, walk-up location in Downtown East Lansing that serves hot dogs with a variety of toppings. The Lansing Shuffle location will serve up the same menu, which features the Spartan Dawg: a hotdog topped with bacon, cream cheese, hot sauce, sautéed peppers & onions.
The second eatery is Finger Lickin’ Chicken & Fish, which is going into the former Yeti Kitchen stall.
Finger Lickin’ Chicken & Fish serves up fried chicken, fish, burgers, and sides. The restaurant already has two other Lansing locations: one on W. Michigan Avenue and the other on Riverfront Drive.
When Will Lansing Shuffle’s New Restaurants Open?
There’s no word on any exact opening dates for these two new establishments. However, an employee at Lansing Shuffle said they’d be opening sometime after April 1. Plus, an article from Lansing State Journal says that University Weiner is hoping to open this May…
