LANSING — A federal judge has ended the court-ordered receivership put in place to oversee one of Lansing’s largest apartment complexes near Jolly and Waverly roads, a key step in bringing hundreds of unlivable apartments back online.
The sprawling apartment complex of more than 300 units and 60 buildings comprises about half of Lansing’s roughly 600 red-tagged residences. A red-tagged home or apartment in Lansing means the city believes it to be unsafe to live in.
