LANSING — Mid-Michigan was starting to dry out after a rainy weekend, but flooding persisted in low-lying areas and some roads remained impassable.
Lansing received a total of more than 2½ inches of rain over three days last week, with most of that coming on Saturday, April 4, pushing rivers and creeks over their banks and sending water over roads that often flood.
That kind of thing is not unusual at this time of year…
