Make an Impact: MSU students land Shark Tank deal with shoelaces that never come untied

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Two Michigan State University engineering students turned a pile of shoelaces into a $300,000 investment on Shark Tank with an invention designed to keep athletes safe.

Madhav Aggarwal and Tanvi Gadamsetti spent the last two years developing BRCĒ Laces, a shoelace that won’t come untied. The invention earned them a deal with two sharks on the popular ABC show.
