LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Big Penny, the notoriously low truck-eating bridge in Lansing, has been defaced, with her eyes and teeth removed.
According to a social media post by the Society for Totally Useless Pranks and Immature Dumbassery – Lansing (STUPID), the damage was done to the northbound and southbound sides of the bridge between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
Big Penny strikes again!
“We are fairly confident that this was an intentional act,” the organization said in the post.
In a comment shared with 6 News, the organization said that Penny has been damaged several times in recent weeks, with the scoreboards and a tooth stolen.
