LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A driver is suspected of impairment following a single-vehicle crash in the southwest valley that ended with the vehicle bursting into flames.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 26, near West Russell Road and South Rainbow Boulevard.

Police said the crash involved one vehicle and the driver left the scene, but was later taken into custody. Metro added that impairment was suspected.
While the vehicle was being loaded into a tow truck to remove it from the scene, police said it “became engulfed in flames.” Metro did not say what led to the fire…
