LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Summer temperatures are approaching the Las Vegas valley, and Republic Services announced that it will be adjusting its collection times.
Starting Monday, June 8, Republic Services will begin collecting residential solid waste and recycling at 5:30 a.m. each morning.

The adjustment and earlier routes are necessary for the safety of the drivers and to maintain service levels in the extreme heat, Republic Services said Friday.
Based on temperatures in 2025, Republic Services anticipates that the earlier start time will remain in effect through September however, if high temperatures do not continue, Republic Services will adjust route times accordingly…
