Man shot, killed by Las Vegas police after shooting into traffic: Metro police

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police shot and killed a man they say was shooting into traffic at an east valley intersection Wednesday.

Around 12:25 p.m., Metro police responded to multiple reports of a man shooting into traffic at the intersection of East Lake Mead Boulevard and Sloan Lane.

When officers arrived, they told the suspect to drop the gun however, the suspect did not comply, LVMPD Capt. Adam Seely said during a press briefing Wednesday.

The suspect then shot toward the officers, resulting in the officers returning fire, hitting him. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, Seely said.

No officers or civilians were injured during the incident…
