Las Vegas mayor weighs in on new animal shelter planned for Clark County

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley weighed in on Clark County’s plans to build another animal shelter as Southern Nevada’s population grows.

Clark County Commissioners approved the $39 million project in August. The new facility should be approximately 45,000 square feet and house up to 650 animals.
