‘Think before you stick,’ North Las Vegas police tell public

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A graphic put together by the North Las Vegas Police Department might make you stop and think before you add that next bumper sticker on your car.

“Think before you stick,” the graphic says, pointing to personal information that can be seen by all.

If you’ve ever questioned the wisdom of a vanity license plate with the owner’s name on display, the information in the graphic might have you nodding in agreement. Police warn every year about dangers from distractions in the parking lot as shoppers leave with holiday purchases. A name on a license plate is one way thieves can create distractions.
