LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Roadway deaths in Nevada rose slightly last month, though overall traffic fatalities for the year remain down compared to 2025, according to the newly released July 2026 Statewide Fatal Report from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety.
In July 2026, 31 people lost their lives on Nevada roads, a 3.33 percent increase from the 30 fatalities recorded in July 2025. So far this year, Nevada has recorded 199 traffic deaths, a 13.48 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
