LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman has filed a lawsuit against NV Energy alleging that she was trapped in her vehicle for seven hours on a Las Vegas road after live utility poles fell onto and surrounded her car in 2025.
In a lawsuit filed on Oct. 13, Kirstin Parker says that on July 1, 2025, Parker was driving on East Tropicana Avenue when, after she passed the intersection with South Pearl Street, “utility poles began to fall in a cascading, domino-like fashion behind her,” the lawsuit states…
