In-N-Out Burger’s owner to rock out against opioid abuse

The owner of In-N-Out Burger plans to strap on the bass guitar with the goal of saving lives.

The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, founded by In-N-Out Burger owner and president Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson and her husband, Sean Ellingson, is ramping up its efforts to combat substance abuse with its annual #NotAnother campaign.

The campaign invites participants to honor loved ones impacted by the opioid epidemic through a digital gallery on the foundation’s website.

Visitors can download “Not Another” signs, take selfies, and share their stories. Examples of testimonials already submitted include “Not Another Friend,” “Not Another Daughter,” and “Not Another Son.”

As part of the fundraising effort, Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson and Sean Ellingson will perform with their family band, .48 Special, at a sold-out benefit concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim on Oct. 12 that will feature the Goo Goo Dolls.

The foundation says the campaign will also include a billboard in Las Vegas, signage at more than 250 bus shelters in cities including Los Angeles , San Francisco, and Salt Lake City, and a kiosk in the Glendale Galleria.
