Damaging Wind Expected to hit Southern Nevada; Winter Conditions arrive across parts of state

Las Vegas, NV – The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Lincoln County, where areas above 7,000 feet could see up to 6 inches of snow, and locations between 5,000 and 7,000 feet may receive a dusting to 2 inches. Alongside this advisory, a Freeze Watch is in effect for northern Mohave County, with a 60% chance of temperatures dropping to freezing or below early Wednesday morning. Residents are advised to bring pets indoors and protect any sensitive plants or equipment.

A High Wind Warning has also been issued for the Spring Mountains, where damaging winds are anticipated. Wind Advisories go into effect at 11 AM this morning and will remain active until 5 AM Tuesday. The National Weather Service urges caution as winter conditions and strong winds impact the region.
