Goodwill of Southern Nevada urges donations for a fresh start in 2025

Las Vegas (KSNV) — As the new year unfolds, Goodwill of Southern Nevada is encouraging residents to declutter their homes and donate unused items to support local job creation and training programs.

Bryan Stewart, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Goodwill of Southern Nevada, said, “Kick off this 2025 with a clean and decluttered home. Something getting in your way might be the perfect find for someone else.”

Goodwill operates 17 stores across the valley, providing convenient locations for donations. Stewart emphasized that donations not only help reduce landfill waste—nearly 30 million pounds were diverted in 2023—but also fund employment opportunities and training programs.
