Two Texas Roadhouse butchers from Gilbert will compete in the second round Tuesday of the restaurant chain’s Meat Cutting Challenge in Henderson, Nevada.
Anthony Chavez works at the Texas Roadhouse at 5086 S. Power Road, Gilbert, while Juan Ortiz works at 3961 S. Gilbert Road, Gilbert. They are among 25 professional meat-cutters from Arizona, California, Idaho, Texas, Utah, Colorado and Nevada to meet up in Henderson.
