Sorry, there will be no big game in Nevada this weekend, but Las Vegas will be sending an all-star to the next best thing. Well, maybe not viewed as much as that other major competition, but still the Puppy Bowl is big news for some of us.
Maxx, a three-legged Doberman puppy, will be part of this year’s Puppy Bowl, bringing his unique story to the competition. According to the Nevada SPCA, Maxx will make his journey from “shelter to stardom” as he competes in the event.
I know stardom can get to some of the high intensity athletes and I hope it doesn’t mess with Maxx’s head. I can see him demanding sorted kibble, celebrating too hard or maybe worse, marking too many things as “his territory”…
