Multiple Injuries Reported in Early Morning Head-On Collision on East Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas

A devastating head-on collision on East Sahara Avenue has left several people with severe injuries, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently piecing together the events that led up to the crash. According to a report from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred early Monday morning near the intersection with Pacific Summit Street.

It appears that a 2002 Toyota Camry, for reasons yet to be determined, veered across the center line around 3:12 a.m. and directly collided with an oncoming 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan. Emergency services rapidly responded to quickly transport all involved parties to the hospital. The driver and a juvenile passenger in the Toyota sustained life-threatening injuries. Another young passenger also faced serious harm, while a third, identified as Elijah Hernandez, suffered minor injuries.
