State, county, and local officials recently commenced construction on a $53 million small business and affordable housing project in the Historic Westside of Las Vegas. The Mixed-Use Microbusiness Park, scheduled to open by August 2026, is designed to integrate affordable housing and small business support within the community.
Located at 620 W. Lake Mead Blvd., adjacent to Nevada Partners and the Las Vegas Culinary Academy, the development spans approximately 5 acres. It will feature a two-story, 20,000-square-foot facility encompassing retail, office, restaurant, and entrepreneur spaces, alongside an amphitheater, music plaza, and 76 affordable housing units. The park targets microbusinesses, defined as small businesses with 50 or fewer employees.
Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II highlighted the selection of the Historic Westside due to its historical lack of investment, aiming to revitalize the area and integrate it with broader county development efforts.
