Las Vegas residents should brace for traffic disruptions as the second phase of the Northwest Area Fiber-optic Communications and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Improvement project kicks off on Monday. According to an announcement from the City of Las Vegas, lane restrictions will be in effect along key stretches of road including Grand Teton Drive between El Capitan Way and Buffalo Drive, and on Buffalo Drive from Grand Teton to Elkhorn Road. The city bulletin indicates that at least one traffic lane will remain open in each direction, although drivers are cautioned to expect delays.
