Rain showers possible in Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Thursday started with chilly morning temperatures in the 40s, but moisture could produce isolated rain showers.

Another couple of inches of snow could fall in the mountains before the system pulls away into Arizona and Utah.

High pressure will rebuild beginning Friday and Saturday, producing gusty northeast winds up to 30 mph on both days. Winds should calm down by Sunday into next week as temperatures warm up. Highs will make it back to the normal 70s this weekend, then quickly warm to 80s early next week before jumping into the hotter 90s by midweek and that could last for several days. The normal high next week is 77-78, and the normal low is 55-56…
