LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A New Mexico man pleaded guilty to reselling firearms that he bought in Las Vegas to buyers in Mexico and the U.S., according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
According to court documents and admissions made in court, from December 202 through Jan. 17, 2023, Celso Daniel Ruiz bought at least 145 of the same or similar types of firearms from Federal Firearms Licensees in Las Vegas and Henderson. Shortly after buying many of the firearms, Ruiz crossed the U.S.-Mexico border.
