Hundreds dive into cold waters in Vegas Plunge to support Special Olympics athletes

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, Nevada State Police, and North Las Vegas Police Department braved the chilly waters at Cowabunga Bay Water Park for the 2025 Special Olympics Nevada Vegas Plunge on Saturday.

Hundreds of participants hopped, skipped, and dove into the cold water to raise funds for inclusive sports, education, and health programs supporting more than 2,653 athletes statewide.

Local heroes from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, Nevada State Police, and North Las Vegas Police Department also showed their support by taking the plunge…
