In an effort to apprehend suspects connected to a shooting, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has turned to the public for assistance. The incident in question took place on October 5, 2024, where Martha Carbajal, described as an innocent woman, was shot on the 500 block of N. Lamb Blvd. Over six months after the crime, LVMPD released a video showing the individuals believed to be responsible, alongside a direct appeal for information to help progress the investigation.
In a recent social media post, the LVMPD shared footage of the suspects and highlighted Martha Carbajal’s courage in coming forward to share her ordeal. As the department tries to openly encourage anyone with knowledge to step forward, they emphasize the opportunity for callers to remain anonymous. “If you recognize them or have any info,” LVMPD’s post implores, “call LVMPD NEAC Patrol Investigations at 702-828-3403 or remain anonymous with Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.” This outreach suggests that the police still have to firmly establish leads, despite having video evidence in hand.
