The incident was reported just before dawn at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the University United Methodist Church located near University Avenue and Maryland Parkway, FOX5 Vegas reports. According to News 3 LV, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was notified about the presence of an individual seem to be setting items ablaze on the roof of the church. Responding officers reportedly located and apprehended a man at the scene, who was then taken into custody and transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
