Man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after northwest Las Vegas valley crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Saturday afternoon after becoming trapped between a vehicle and its door in the northwest Las Vegas valley, according to police.

Around 3 p.m., police responded to a private property in the 9600 block of Marigny Court near North Grand Canyon Drive and Cheyenne Avenue after a report of an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Evidence at the scene, witness statements and video evidence showed that a woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in an open garage of a residence and a man was standing next to the driver with the driver’s door open…
