TayShaun Todd, 20, had attended a house party in June when his mother Christina Todd-Dunn reported him missing to the Metropolitan Police Department. That was after she was informed he was nowhere to be found when the event was stopped by police.
Todd was found dead in a pool situated inside the home the following day, which was on June 18. But her mother, in an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, said that her son could have been alive if Metro Police had properly canvassed the home where the party was held after he was reported missing.
The party in question was held at a home in the 2600 block of Palma Vista Avenue. The night before Todd’s body was found, police had gone to the same home after they received a call for service.
