All power outages fixed, Las Vegas emergency shelter closes as people return home

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — An emergency shelter established at the Las Vegas Convention Center will close after dozens of people who lost power from a windstorm this week returned home.

A Clark County spokesperson said that by 10 a.m. Friday, 37 people, two dogs and one cat who were using the shelter had left to head to their homes.
