LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The owner of a Las Vegas mental health clinic, The Healing Tree Wellness Center, was placed on probation in a Medicaid billing case, the Nevada Attorney General’s Office announced Thursday.
Marjorie Landron, 48, who owns the business near Summerlin Parkway and Town Center Drive, was sentenced to 364 days in jail, suspended, and placed on probation. She was ordered to pay enforcement costs to the Attorney General’s Office. The amount was not disclosed.
Landron’s company was convicted of a felony for submitting false Medicaid claims in November 2024 and ordered to pay $198,000 in restitution…
