Heat-related ambulance calls in Las Vegas valley down from 2024; expected to rise throughout summer

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas summer heat has arrived, and with it can bring serious health consequences.

Glen Simpson, senior director of Community Ambulance, said this summer isn’t as bad as last year, so far.

“On average, we’ve seen, roughly about 20 to 30 less transports, year to date when it comes to heat related calls,” Simpson said…
